Kate Cassidy has paid tribute to Liam Payne a few months on from his death.

The One Direction star died aged 31 on October 16 after he fell from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Soon after his death Kate, 25, revealed they had plans to marry within the next year and has since shared updates with fans about how she’s been coping in the wake of his sudden death.

This week she has shared photos showing her posing in a place she’d previously visited with Payne, whom she’d been in a relationship with for two years.

Posting photographs in front of an installation at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Kate shared an image of her there with the singer, as well as one now alone.

‘I thought this place would feel empty without you, but instead, it’s filled with the warmth of this moment we shared,’ she captioned the post.

Kate was quickly met with messages of support from many fans.

‘You’re never without him Kate. He’s always with you,’ Aurelia commented.

‘I’m sure he always next to you and I’m sure he’s so proud of you Kate,’ Lauren wrote.

‘He lives in every place you shared, his warmth is there, with you. His eyes, his hugs, live in you Kate, and in the people who loved him. Forever part of everything you lived. Liam exists,’ Valentina added.

Last month Kate also reflected on their final Valentine’s Day together and a thoughtful gift she was given by a friend to mark the occasion.

Along with a vase of red roses, Kate shared a photo holding a framed collage with a series of images of her and Payne.

She then explained how a year earlier they had been witnessing the magic of the Northern Lights together.

In her first interview following Payne’s death, Kate told The Sun last month she was ‘trying to be as strong as I can be’.

‘I feel really alone but I know Liam wouldn’t want me to. He would want me to do what makes me happy and to be as strong as I can be like, no matter what people say.’
