Liam Gallagher embroiled in new legal battle with love child’s mother
Gallagher fathered a daughter with a journalist out of wedlock.
The mother of Oasis legend Liam Gallagher’s love child is reportedly asking for a ‘silly amount’ more in financial support.
The Definitely Maybe singer, 52, fathered daughter Gemma, 12, with journalist Liza Ghorbani, 51, after she interviewed him for The New York Times in 2010.
Last week, Ghorbani filed a new case in the New York Supreme Court asking for an increase in payments. The sum Gallagher currently pays is unknown.
It has been claimed that she is seeking extra child support ahead of the Oasis reunion tour, which will reportedly net Gallagher £100,000,000.
A source told The Sun: ‘It seems Liza and her legal team are milking the fact Liam is set for a big Oasis payday on his new tour and they’re after more money.
‘He’s always paid his child maintenance fees, which are generous.

Gallagher’s reps are aware of the new court claim but declined to comment to The Sun.

Gallagher fathered Gemma during his six-year marriage to ex-wife All Saints star Nicola Appleton, 50. The former couple share son Gene Gallagher, 23.
He was previously married to Patsy Kensit, 57, who is the mother of his eldest son, Lennon Gallagher, 25.
During his marriage to Kensit, Gallagher had an affair with singer Lisa Moorish, 53, and she gave birth to their daughter Molly Moorish-Gallagher, 26.

Gallagher is now in a relationship with his manager and publicist, Debbie Gwyther, 40. In 2019, he proposed to her while on holiday in Italy’s Amalfi Coast.
Oasis made a sensational return to the music business in 2024, 15 years after dramatically splitting in 2009, after a decade-long cold war between the brothers in the media.
Hopes of a reunion were always active in the Oasis fanbase, but the brothers were unable to come to an agreement that would see them take to the stage again.
Things changed in 2024, when the 41-date tour was announced, which will see the Gallaghers grace arenas in the UK and Ireland, the US, Canada, Mexico, South America, South Korea and Japan, and Australia.
After the tour was confirmed, Oasis published a statement: ‘The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.’
