Previous Page Next PageNetflix subscribers are in for a treat as the second season of the adored Pantheon will soon be available.
Originally airing on AMC in 2022, the adult animated series had fans lapping up the twisty sci-fi episodes based on a collection of short stories by Ken Liu.
The plot focuses on a bullied teenager who begins getting messages from an unknown source that is claiming to be her recently deceased father. It transpires that unethical AI is the cause of the sudden contact.
The characters are voiced by Lost’s Daniel Dae Kim, Paul Dano, Katie Chang, Rosemarie DeWitt, Aaron Eckhart, and Orange is the New Black star Taylor Schilling.
The initial eight episodes were given a rare score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes, and viewers regularly took to social media to share their love for the clever show.
As time went on, many lost hope they’d ever get to see the story continue after AMC pulled season two and removed season one from the platform.

Allyson Johnson added: ‘What ties it together is the extraordinary writing that takes what could be dense and dizzying text and makes it both contemplative and engaging, inviting to viewers rather than alienating.’
‘Pantheon is such a criminally underrated masterpiece and I hope people can experience this show someday,’ wrote Sean on X. Well that one day is Friday. Happy bingeing all!
