Maura Higgins has reportedly filmed her TV comeback weeks after she appeared to kiss Danny Jones at a Brits afterparty.

The Love Island star, 34, has not publicly addressed their embrace but has been sharing social media about various work projects, including a business trip to LA and a gin event launch with Margot Robbie.

Her next venture, and her first on-screen appearance since the embrace with her I’m A Celebrity co-star, Danny, 38, will be the BBC’s reboot of game show Blankety Blank.

Maura reportedly appears as a contestant on the programme hosted by Bradley Walsh and filmed her episode at Maidstone Studios in Kent last month.

A source told The Sun: ‘Since that unfortunate incident, Maura’s kept to modelling jobs and posting glossy social media videos, but this will be her first TV appearance.

‘She’s opening herself up to ribbing and scrutiny, but the BBC has ensured the drunken kiss stays off-limits because it’s a family show.’

While Maura has remained silent on the kissing scandal, Danny issued a public apology to his wife, model Georgia Horsley, 38.

The McFly singer has been married to Georgia, a former Miss England, since 2014, and they have a son, Cooper, together.

In an Instagram Story, he wrote: ‘Sorry it’s taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.

‘I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.

‘I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.’
