Maura Higgins returns to Instagram after going silent in wake of ‘Danny Jones kiss’
She posted a photo with two words.
Maura Higgins has made her return to social media after a week-long break.
The former Love Island star posted on Instagram after taking some time away following her alleged ‘kiss’ with Danny Jones at a Brits afterparty.
On Instagram stories, Maura, 34, gave her followers an update as to what she’s spending her time doing.
In the wake of the talking point, the TV personality is heading out of the country on a trip to Los Angeles. She did not reveal if this was planned before or after recent events.
Sharing a photo of her plane setup – it was clear Maura was not sitting in economy. Instead, she is heading stateside in the comfort of a spacious booth
For the flight, she appeared to be indulging in a glass of rosé wine which was resting on her tray. ‘Exciting shoot,’ she simply wrote alongside the image.

The pair spent the night together at the bash, with onlookers then filming them appearing to lock lips around 3am.
Sources said Danny and Maura, who is single after her recent split from The Only Way is Essex and Strictly star Pete Wicks, ‘seemed to be having a great time’ before sharing a ‘brief drunken kiss’.
Soon after they left the party, each later being seen at the Sony party in Nobu Hotel where they were ‘still grinning and joking about’. It has been claimed by Daily Mail that they ‘stayed up until 6am drinking wine’.
