Rocker YungBlud ‘hit by a car’ while in Paris
'I had a bit of a trip.'

Rocker YungBlud has revealed that a recent accident in Paris served as a major turning point in both his personal life and career.
The 27-year-old artist, born Dominic Harrison, shared that he was struck by a car while in the French capital – an incident that left him profoundly shaken.
Describing the experience as ‘mental,’ YUNGBLUD admitted it sparked a deep moment of introspection.
The brush with mortality made him question whether he would have been proud of the legacy he’d leave behind.
He told The Daily Star: ‘I got hit by a car, which was mental. I had a bit of a trip.’
He acknowledged that, before the accident, he had been distracted by ‘a lot of bulls***’ that ultimately didn’t matter.
The rocker said the experience made him a ‘better brother, better son, better lover and better mate’ (Picture: APA-PictureDesk GmbH/REX/Shutterstock)Since then, he says he has ‘re-centred’ himself and has worked to become a better person in his relationships. He continued: ‘I’ve become a better brother, better son, better lover and better mate.’
These internal shifts are also showing up in his lifestyle. With a fourth studio album on the horizon, Yungblud has taken up boxing five times a week and swapped beer for what he describes as a healthier alternative—vodka lime sodas.
He shared that he wanted to look a bit hotter in order to better promote his new album.
His latest single, Hello Heaven, Hello, is, in his words, a statement of identity and transformation.
Rock music, he explains, has always been central to who he is—something ingrained in him from growing up around guitars in his father and grandfather’s music shop.
The musician has been open about his struggles in the past, previously sharing details of what he labelled an ‘abusive’ upbringing in Doncaster.
More recently, he revealed to fans on social media that he was molested by a medical professional when he was just seven years old, a traumatic experience he channeled into his music.
‘When I was seven years old I was molested by a doctor,’ his Instagram post began.

‘This is the most personal thing I’ve ever released. That’s not to say it’s soft or gentle. Far from it.’
He continued: ‘It’s a rallying cry and an exposition of the soul.’

Concluding his post, he wrote: ‘You’ve got to hit rock bottom and live through all the s**t nobody believes. You’ve got to hurt some people but first some people will thirst on watching you bleed. And that’s when you know you’ve made it. When you’re hated.’
