Rocker’s ‘unbearably embarrassing’ crowd surfing attempt goes terribly wrong
We can't stop watching.

American singer The Dare didn’t quite get the response he was hoping for when he stage-dived into the crowd while on his UK tour.
The 29-year-old musician attempted to crowdsurf without warning, jumping into the front rows only to find himself hitting the floor.
The Charli XCX collaborator, real name Harrison Patrick Smith, was performing at Bristol’s Marble Factory on March 16 when he fell, face-first.
In a clip shared online, Smith holds the microphone out to the crowd as his hit song Girls plays before leaning forward and jumping off the stage.
Unfortunately, the crowd of mainly young women were not anticipating having to hold up an approximately 6ft tall man so nobody was able to catch him.
Smith twisted as he disappeared through the crowd so he didn’t smack his face on the floor as the women around him screamed and appeared confused.

TikTok user Miaandthejets posted the original video, which has since hit over 200,000 views, writing: ‘The Dare takes a tumble in Bristol.’
‘I think I’d have left the stage and gone home in silence actually,’ commented _1111fern on the TikTok.
‘U can see how red his face is when he gets back up the EMBARRASSMENT I’d have stayed on the floor,’ added Bakersgottabark.
‘This is so unbearably embarrassing,’ said spittingfishi as notherdonut agreed: ‘This is the most embarrassing thing ever ????????.’
‘Nobody caught him ????????????,’ said oranjegulius on X as joanipertree joked: ‘I wouldn’t have even gotten up i would’ve just waited for the venue to clear.’
Shabbje said: ‘That video of the dare trying to crowdsurf and falling is the funniest thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life.’
Plenty of others pointed out that he shouldn’t have expected the demographic of his audience to catch him, given most appeared to be women in their late teens to early 20s.
However, some criticised the fans who were grabbing their phones to film Smith, rather than offering to help the Good Time singer back up.
While nobody was injured this time, punk rock fan Bird Piche, 24, suffered a ‘catastrophic spinal cord injury’ after Trophy Eyes lead singer John Floreani crowd-surfed.
She had to undergo extensive surgery after she was left partially paralysed following the gig in New York late last year.
The Dare is best known for his single Girls and working with Charli XCX on her Brat album, remixing hit song Guess with the Brit Award winnner.
He has not addressed the tumble at all and continues his UK tour in Manchester on March 19 before a gig in Glasgow on Friday, March 21.
Hopefully, for his next few shows, Smith will keep his feet firmly planted on the stage.
