Ruth Langsford’s painful ‘discovery’ that caused collapse of Eamonn Holmes marriage revealed
Ruth was 'devastated' by her findings after 14 years of marriage.

The real reason for Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes’ marriage split has reportedly been revealed after the Loose Women star made a devastating discovery.
Former This Morning presenters Ruth and Eamonn, both 65, married in 2010. In May last year, it was confirmed they were separating as Eamonn moved out of their family home.
It has now been claimed that Ruth ended their relationship after finding her husband—with whom she shares son Jack, 22—on the phone with another woman.
Ruth is said to have found it a ‘real kick in the teeth’, having been with Eamonn for so long and caring for him amid his health and mobility woes.
Eamonn has undergone various surgeries in recent years, including a double hip replacement and a slipped disc. In January 2023, he broke his shoulder in a fall.
Alas, it’s believed the Irish broadcaster continued speaking to another lady behind Ruth’s back, as she reportedly found messages on their shared laptop weeks later.

‘But Ruth could hear him from elsewhere in the house and was totally horrified.’
The insider claims Ruth ‘confronted’ Eamonn upon learning what was supposedly going on, feeling ‘devastated’ and ‘angry’.
‘It was quite a shock—for both of them.’
Eamonn is thought to have had ‘no idea’ Ruth was inside their Surrey home while he was making the salacious phone call.

It’s claimed the phone call row happened in April last year, one month before Ruth and Eamonn’s divorce became public knowledge.
At the time, their representatives issued a joint statement simply saying: ‘Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.’
A mole reckons the ‘awful experience’ was ultimately ‘the straw that broke the camel’s back as far as the marriage was concerned.’

Eamonn and his girlfriend, who is 22 years his junior, have made no secret of the fact they’re together, showcasing their new fling at events and on holidays.
Meanwhile, Ruth is embracing being single and let her hair down last week to celebrate her 65th birthday, heading to a sunnier climate with friends.
For her special day on Monday, she jetted to the Caribbean for a boozy boat bash before celebrating with her London pals—including Vanessa Feltz and Lizzie Cundy—on Friday.
Sharing a snap of herself on the beach, admiring a glowing sunset, she wrote on Instagram: ‘So this is 65…..thank you for all your lovely birthday messages ❤️’
Those close to her have said Ruth is keen to move on from the pain of her marriage breakdown and finalise legal proceedings as swiftly as possible.
Reps for Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have been contacted for comment.
