The TV personality, 39, hit out at the ‘baseless and cruel’ rumours that have been circulating last week, with claims suggesting that the pair were heading for divorce. Spencer, 36, and Vogue tied the knot in 2018 and have three children together; Theodore, six, Gigi, four, and Otto, two. An insider has now claimed that Vogue will be ‘reluctant’ to openly discuss her marriage in the future, after reports claimed that the pair were ‘trying to avoid the seven-year itch’ A source told Metro: ‘Spencer is fuming that Vogue had to issue a statement. He finds speculation about his marriage upsetting, especially as he’s so protective of his children. ‘They’ve had ups and downs like any relationship, Vogue has been open about this on her podcast and how things aren’t easy with three young children. She’s now reluctant to be so open about their marriage in public. Vogue was forced to hit back at reports she and Spencer are heading for a split (Picture: Instagram) ‘They’ve been together through everything from Spencer’s sobriety journey to parenthood and it’s been difficult, but they’re still more in love than ever.’ DJ and presenter Vogue took to social media last week to hit back at claims that the pair were splitting up, sharing a montage of photos of herself with her former Made In Chelsea star husband. She wrote: ‘It’s with great sadness that I have to let you know that Spen and I are NOT breaking up! ‘I usually avoid addressing baseless and cruel rumours but this just keeps coming up. It’s disappointing to see this narrative being pushed almost daily when it’s absolutely not true and much more importantly, I don’t want my children hearing these lies in the playground. ‘We’re not sure what the angle is or where it’s coming from but the whole thing feels very strange and mean.’ Spencer is said to be ‘fuming’ that Vogue was forced to address the rumours (Picture: Neil Rasmus/BFA.com/Shutterstock) Vogue then reassured fans that she and Spencer are ‘very happily married and in love’, but wanted to ‘post the truth’ to put an end to speculation. Responding to Vogue’s post Spencer joked: ‘Some of the articles are quite funny to be fair.’ Speculation was fuelled after Spencer left the couple’s podcast in January so he could train for his next challenge, having completed an insane 30-day marathon trial last year. The former reality star told the audience: ‘I’m moving on from this podcast to pursue other business interests and focus on my upcoming challenge. ‘I’ve loved doing this show and it would never have been as popular as it would be without the listeners.’ Vogue teasingly replied that she wouldn’t miss him as she would ‘see him at home’ with her sister Amber Wilson taking over. She explained: ‘I would say I do 80 percent of what [goes on]. We’ve actually been having a slight little tiff about that this morning, about the stuff that I do.’ Vogue and Spencer met on the fourth and final series of Channel 4 reality TV competition The Jump and after a year of dating, he got down on one knee and popped the question. The couple tied the knot in June 2018 at Spencer’s 10,000-acre family estate in Scotland before having a second wedding in London the following year.
