For those that missed seeing Julia Roberts and George Clooney’s 2022 hit Ticket to Paradise is now streaming on the small screen – and it’s a must watch.

The romcom – which also stars Kaitlyn Dever, Lucas Bravo and Billie Lourd – follows a divorced couple who learn that their daughter wants to give up her career, marry a man she just met, and live in Bali.

Putting aside their differences, Julia’s Georgia and George’s David try everything in their power to try and stop the wedding from going ahead. Along the way, they start to wonder if there’s still something between them.

The official synopsis reads: ‘George Clooney and Julia Roberts reunite on the big screen as exes who find themselves on a shared mission to stop their lovestruck daughter from making the same mistake they once made.’

If this sounds like something you want to see, then Ticket to Paradise – which scored 53% on Rotten Tomatoes – is available to watch right now for free on Channel 4’s streaming service, following its premiere on Saturday night.

The rom-com was filmed in Australia and the Hollywood titans were quarantining in the same area, but while the Notting Hill actress, 57, did trip solo, One Fine Day actor George was joined by Amal and their seven-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella.

‘We started in Hamilton Island, with all these wild birds, and Julia had the house down just below Amal and me and the kids,’ the dad-of-two recalled to the New York Times.

‘I would come out in the early mornings and be like, “Caa-caa,” and Julia would come out and be like, “Caa-caa”. And then we’d bring her down a cup of coffee. She was Aunt Juju to my kids.’

Julia previously raved about the time they spent together, as she had never been away from her own brood for that long.

‘The Clooneys saved me from complete loneliness and despair,’ she continued. ‘We were in a bubble, and it’s the longest I’ve ever been away from my family. I don’t think I’ve spent that much time by myself since I was 25.’

This isn’t the first time Julia and George have worked together, as they previously stole the show in the iconic Ocean’s Eleven franchise, as well as Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Money Monster in 2016.

However, despite playing a couple in the flicks, they actually found it difficult to kiss on screen in the rom-com.

‘It took 79 takes of us laughing and then the one take of us kissing,’ she added of their intimate scenes.

Ticket to Paradise is available to stream on Channel 4.
