TV legend Candice Bergen’s husband Marshall Rose dies aged 88
The couplet tied the knot in 2000.

Hollywood actress Candice Bergen’s husband Marshall Rose has died at the age of 88.
The real estate businessman and philanthropist, who married Bergen in 2000, died at home peacefully in New York on Saturday, surrounded by family.
His cause of death was complications from Parkinson’s disease, with his obituary in The New York Times praising his ‘many years of extraordinary strength and resilience’.
Rose is survived by his wife, 78, as well as his children Wendi and Andrew; his step-daughter Chloe; and his grandchildren Alexander, Clio, Ell, Milo, Arthur, and Alice.
Sex and the City star Bergen, who’s also appeared in movies like Miss Congeniality and Book Club, was previously married to director Louis Malle until his death from cancer in 1995.
They shared daughter Chloe, 39, together.
