Vogue Williams blasts ‘cruel’ Spencer Matthews split rumours after marriage breakdown claims
She called it all 'lies'.

After almost a decade together, Vogue Williams announced with ‘great sadness’ that she and Spencer Matthews were not breaking up.
The TV personality, 39, hit out at the ‘baseless and cruel’ rumours that have been circulating, claiming the pair were heading for divorce.
Spencer, 36, and Vogue tied the knot in 2018 and have three children together who the doting mum was worried would hear ‘these lies’.
Sharing a montage of them together, she wrote: ‘It’s with great sadness that I have to let you know that Spen and I are NOT breaking up!
‘I usually avoid addressing baseless and cruel rumours but this just keeps coming up. It’s disappointing to see this narrative being pushed almost daily when it’s absolutely not true and much more importantly, I don’t want my children hearing these lies in the playground.
‘We’re not sure what the angle is or where it’s coming from but the whole thing feels very strange and mean.’
She shared a loved-up video montage of the pair (Picture: voguewilliams)She reassured fans that they are ‘very happily married and in love’ but wanted to ‘post the truth’ to put an end to the speculation.
Her comments were filled with supportive messages from friends and fans, with plenty of heart emojis.
‘Some of the articles are quite funny to be fair,’ added Spencer to keep the tone light-hearted.
Speculation was fueled after Spencer left the couple’s podcast in January so he could train for his next challenge, having completed an insane 30-day marathon trial last year.
The former Made In Chelsea star told the audience: ‘I’m moving on from this podcast to pursue other business interests and focus on my upcoming challenge.
Spencer joked the rumours were ‘quite funny’ (Picture: voguewilliams)‘I’ve loved doing this show and it would never have been as popular as it would be without the listeners.’
Vogue teasingly replied that she wouldn’t miss him as she would ‘see him at home’ with her sister Amber Wilson taking over.
Then, earlier in March, Vogue appeared on the Netmums Podcast and revealed she had ‘had enough’ after a ‘tiff’ with Spencer over home workloads.
She explained: ‘I would say I do 80 percent of what [goes on]. We’ve actually been having a slight little tiff about that this morning, about the stuff that I do.’
They are incredibly open and honest about their family life (Picture: Vogue Williams/Instagram)‘I’ve had enough today!’ the Irish presenter added before explaining their youngest son Otto had woken them both up in the middle of the night.
Despite marital tiffs, when Spencer faced his 30-day challenge in the desert it was Vogue and the kids he couldn’t wait to see.
He told Metro at the time he was most looking forward ‘a big, big, big hug with my kids and Vogue before a beautiful big meal.’
‘A nice hot shower and I won’t say that sitting on the toilet is gonna be great but having a toilet will be nice,’ he joked.
The podcast host was greeted by their two older children — Theodore, six, Gigi, four, — while baby Otto, two, stayed at home.
