WWE is bringing its historic European tour to the UK this week with a blockbuster edition of Monday Night Raw on Netflix.

WrestleMania 41 is fast approaching, and for the first time in its history, WWE has been running a stretch of major shows outside North America in the buildup to its biggest premium live event of the year.

The wrestling world takes over Las Vegas on April 19 and 20, but for the last weeks and a half fans in Barcelona, Brussels and Bologna have enjoyed the action.

Last week’s show in Brussels was off the chain, as John Cena fully turned his back on his loyal fans, while Penta staked his claim for an Intercontinental Title shot.

Rhea Ripley also continued to inject herself in the upcoming Women’s World Championship match between Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair, while stars like Spain’s own Axiom have a shone in front of home town crowds.

WWE is hyping up Jey Uso and a mystery tag team partner for tonight’s episode.

Given the show is in Glasgow, a lot of fans have predicted Scottish superstar Joe Hendry could be making a surprise appearance.

Another option could be Jey’s twin brother Jimmy, while it’s possible WWE is planning to go in a different direction entirely.

Why are Raw and SmackDown changing start times?

WWE’s ongoing Road to WrestleMania tour across Europe, and the new Netflix deal, mean things are working much better for fans in the UK.

Historically, whenever WWE aired shows from the UK, they’d air on a delay to fit with the US broadcast times, which were the early hours for us.

That’s all changed with the Netflix move, which means the streaming giant has the WWE rights for most of the world outside the United States.

International crowds have raised the bar in recent years, which definitely helps, plus Monday Night Raw airs on the streamer pretty much everywhere including the US at this point, so the show will be fully live wherever they are in the world.

Thankfully for fans outside the US, that includes SmackDown, which is part of our Netflix subscription, but is still broadcast on the USA Network for fans in the States.

They’ll have to wait till the usual timeslot for that show later this week, but the rest of us can enjoy the action as it happens.

WWE Raw roster and champions

Given the move to Netflix, the WWE Raw roster is absolutely stacked from top to bottom with major superstars and unrivalled talent.

Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky and World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER sit at the top with their respective titles, but the likes of Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and CM Punk are all featured at the top of the card.

John Cena also looks to keep his feud with Cody Rhodes rolling on the red brand, while Royal Rumble winner Jey Uso’s mystery partner could shake things up

Intercontinental Champions Bron Breakker and Lyra Valkyria are holding down their respective divisions, with The War Raiders’ Erik and Ivar holding tag team gold, with Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez topping the women’s tag division.

The men’s roster also includes the likes of Chad Gable, Austin Theory, Grayson Waller, Dragon Lee, Rey Mysterio, AJ Styles and Logan Paul.

Ludwig Kaiser, Otis, Akira Tozawa, The Creed Brothers, Sami Zayn, Pete Dunne, Sheamus, The New Day, and Judgment Day’s JD McDonagh, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio and Carlito all feature too.

On the women’s side, Bayley, Dakota Kai, Ivy Nile, Shayna Baszle, ZOey Stark, Maxxine Dupri, Natalyra and fan favourite Rhea Ripley.
