Yung Filly, a British YouTuber, has pleaded not guilty to eight charges after being accused of raping a woman in Australia.

The rapper, real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, was arrested in October in Brisbane and then extradited to Perth.

During an appearance at Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday, the 24-year-old online personality entered a not guilty plea.

Barrientos refused to answer questions from press as he left the court but did offer a rare comment that it was a ‘beautiful day’, according to The Western Australian.

He has been in Australia since the alleged assault on a woman in her 20s in his hotel after a performance at Bar1 Nightclub in Perth.

The charges include four counts of rape, three counts of assault and one count of impeding a person’s normal breathing or circulation by applying pressure to their neck.

The YouTuber must remain in Australia as part of his AUS$100,000 (£48,683) bail conditions and has daily check ins with police.

Barrientos has also been banned from attending nightclubs or hotels under bail restrictions.

His case will be heard in June by a District Court, after initial reports he could be waiting up to two years.

Before his arrest, Barrientos appeared on several TV shows, including BBC’s Would I Lie To You? and Channel 4’s The Great Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C.
