Zara McDermott has sparked rumours that she’s reportedly moved on from ex-boyfriend Sam Thompson with a well-known former boyband star.
The former Made in Chelsea star, 28, has been caught up in speculation that she’s now dating One Direction star Louis Tomlinson after fans spotted a string of ‘clues’ online hinting to a relationship.
Zara, who split from I’m A Celebrity star Sam in December after a five-year-long relationship, caused fans to speculate that romance is on the horizon with Louis, 33.
According to The Sun, the claims began on Reddit, after Louis’ fans noticed that the pair had started following each other on Instagram.
They also noticed that Louis’ siblings Lottie and twins Daisy and Phoebe had started following Zara too.

‘They recently started to follow each other on instagram. She follows all of his sisters, and they follow her back.’
They added: ‘Obviously, following a person on instagram doesn’t mean that people are in a relationship, lol, But, I just find it weird, and I am scared that this will be a new stunt. Especially since I’ve read about them many times.
‘Louis is having a concert in London today, and I’m just waiting for Zara to be spotted there or that she post a story from the concert.’
Others weren’t so convinced and speculated that the connection could be because Zara is working with the Tomlinson family on a TV project.

While Zara has been busy working on documentaries, Sam had spent a significant amount of time in Australia for I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here’s spin-off show, Unpacked last year.
Although Sam wrote that Zara was ‘stuck with me forever’ on December 14, reports emerged that it was all over on New Year’s Day.
‘Sam and Zara have ended their relationship. It’s been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways, they still care and have a lot of love for each other,’ a source said at the time.
‘But after a tough year of working hard at their romance, they have split and will be focusing on their individual careers.

Meanwhile, Louis is reportedly single after he was rumoured to be dating model Sofie Nyvang in 2023.
Louis was also in an on-off relationship with Eleanor Calder, with the pair splitting in 2015 before getting back together two years later.
The singer is a father to son Freddie, who was born in 2016.
