In the past, Grimes has used her social media platforms to reach out to her ex, Elon, and speak openly about family issues.

In March, she shared her ‘grave concern’ for her children in a desperate plea to her ex to keep her three children off the internet after he brought their four-year-old son to a media briefing at the White House.

‘I have tried begging the public and my kids’ dad to keep them offline, and I’ve tried legal recourse,’ the Canadian-born singer wrote via X.

She added: ‘I would hope there was some law that would allow a parent to veto small children from living public lives but I don’t even trust the law to help me now if I tried to invoke it tbh.’

She also previously pleaded with her ex to contact her over their child’s medical crisis.’

In since-deleted posts on X, she wrote: ‘Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis.

‘I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation.

‘This requires immediate attention. If you don’t want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can do that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon.’
