Fred Sirieix secretly marries long-term partner Fruitcake after delaying wedding

I’m A Celebrity star Fred Sirieix has revealed he’s married his partner Fruitcake in a lavish wedding.

The First Dates star, 53, met his now-wife a decade ago and affectionately refers to her as ‘fruitcake’ on social media.

The pair regularly post pictures together on holidays and adorable dates, and have now revealed snaps from their special day.

‘18.02.2025,’ Fred wrote, alongside a picture of them after the ceremony in Jamaica, wearing a white tux and holding Fruitcake’s hand.

She looked glamorous in an embellished white dress with a long train and veil, re-sharing pictures posted by her guests on her own Instagram page.

‘Best day of my life!!!!!!’ Fruitcake replied in the comments, as several celebrities shared their congratulatory messages.

‘Huge congratulations my friend,’ Greg Rutherford wrote, while First Dates star Cici Coleman said: ‘Congratulations, you gorgeous couple.’

Fred’s jungle co-star Marvin Humes also wrote: ‘Congratulations guys! All the very best and sending lots of love.’

Fellow I’m A Celebrity stars Jamie Lynn Spears, Melvin Odoom and Nella Rose also shared messages of support.

It’s unclear if dad-of-two Fred’s ITV co-stars Gordon Ramsay and Gino D’Acampo were in attendance.

Fred also shared a video of them relaxing on the beach the day after their wedding, soaking up the Jamaican sun.

‘It’s sunset here at 6pm, I’m here with Fruitcake,’ he said. ‘We got married yesterday.’

‘Finally, we did it!’ she added, showing off her stunning ring.

‘Thank you for the lovely, lovely comments,’ she added.

This comes after Fruitcake bravely opened up about a health condition she’d been diagnosed with late last year, saying she’d been suffering from Bell’s Palsy after being rushed to A&E and was experiencing ‘excruciating pain’ and ‘facial distortion’.

‘One of the toughest challenges has been not recognising my reflection in the mirror, which made me retreat from social situations,’ she wrote, adding: ‘However, each day brings new blessings, and I’m starting to look more like myself again.’

Fred and Fruitcake announced their engagement back in March 2020, with Fred tweeting: “#fruitcake said yes’ followed by love hearts and engagement ring emojis.

The couple were due to get married in 2021, but had been forced to delay the wedding due to the pandemic.

On I’m A Celebrity, Fred revealed that they were planning on marrying in Jamaica in 2024.

He told his campmates, including the likes of Matt Hancock and Seann Walsh: ‘The way I met Fruitcake, I met her in Peckham… I was walking up and she was smiling at me and I was smiling at her and I liked her eyes.

‘I just had to talk to her. I asked for her number, I said, “Shall we go for a drink tonight?”

‘That was 9 years ago. We’re getting married next year in Jamaica.’
