‘Selfish’ Channel 4 star blasted for blowing £1,000 on a fizzy drink and chips
One contestant keeps getting slammed for her 'selfish' behaviour.

Tempting Fortune viewers have slammed two contestants for ‘selfish’ behaviour.
This week the Channel 4 reality show returned to screens. Hosted by Paddy McGuinness, it follows 12 strangers as they give up all luxuries during a gruelling 18-day trek across the Malaysian wilderness.
With only basic survival gear, they are working towards reaching a £300,000 prize at the finish line.
But along the way they are presented with ‘temptations’ that can offer them some luxuries during the journey—but come out of the prize pool.
Just two episodes into this season, contestants Vicki, 37, and Imani, 32, have already caused a stir by splashing the cash.
In episode 2, which aired tonight, the pair dropped £2,000 each on a taxi ride to avoid a trek through the jungle as others battled run-ins with leeches.

‘She’s a lovely person, but I’m getting sick of it,’ one said after discovering she’d spent money on a bed and food the night before taking the taxi.
Sam she ‘didn’t trust her at all’ while Nathaniel declared the taxi decision by the pair was ‘pathetic’.
Although it might have appeared that the women would then be doing their best to keep the others on side, the temptation presented by a pub meal and pint was too great.
After arriving at the pitstop, the pair were the first to be presented with the choice of whether to potentially spend thousands on food and drinks.
While full of classic pub grub, they didn’t come cheap at The Nag’s Head – with a main costing the contestants up to £1,250.
Vicki has repeatedly spent thousands on the temptations (Picture: Channel 4)Jumping at the chance to eat some cheesy chips and a cold drink, Vicki didn’t waste any time and made an order. Despite the chips costing £600, Imani encouraged her to take the temptation, with the women then also ordering a fizzy drink each—at £200 a pop.
But just as Vicki was chowing down, the rest of the group turned up and were enraged seeing her eating.
An argument then erupted, with others calling her ‘disrespectful’ and ‘shameful’.
Their sentiments were echoed by many watching at home.
‘Vicki shouldn’t even been on the show she should of known what to expect she just wants a easy ride think of the others so selfish,’ Chris posted on X.
She dropped £800 on some cheesy chips and a fizzy drink on the latest episode (Picture: Channel 4)‘Vicki you are so lazy and selfish. Why are you even on this show? Her and Imani don’t care about the rest of the group who need the money,’ Emi shared.
‘Got to love the drama over some cheesy chips and a can of coke,’ Marcus added.
After Tomasz also decided to order a pint of Guinness, he was also labelled ‘weak and pathetic’.
The episode ended with Vicki yelling at those calling her out, who also asked why she had signed up for the show knowing how challenging it would be.
Tempting Fortune continues on Sunday at 9pm on Channel 4.
