When Will Best was announced as one of the hosts of the Big Brother reboot two years ago, he quickly became a household name.

At the time the presenter, now 40, was best known for fronting shows including Suck My Pop, Love Shaft and Dance Dance Dance.

But in 2023 his career hit a new high being signed as the co-host of ITV’s revival of Big Brother and later its spin off Celebrity Big Brother with AJ Odudu.

After taking on the reins of one of the biggest reality shows on telly, he will again be seen on screens tonight when the show’s spin-off with famous faces returns.

This time around some of the cast set to enter the house include Micky Rourke, Trisha Goddard, Danny Beard and JoJo Siwa.

Before that, here’s everything you need to know about the TV host.

Will is a 38-year-old Londoner, who has been working as a presenter since 2010.

If you want to know what he gets up to day to day then he shares updates to his 60k followers on Instagram. You can see pics of his regular travels including trips to Miami and Lisbon – he’s smart to get all his annual leave in now as he’ll be very busy soon.

He also regularly posts cute pictures with partner Tobi Rose who he calls ‘the love of my life’.

The couple have a pet dog called Sandwich, and the Tibetan Terrier even has their own Instagram account.

He also has a friendship with Maya Jama who called Will and AJ’s appointment ‘iconic and necessary’.

Will shared a throwback photo of him DJing with AJ and Maya, 28, in September 2023 joking: ‘Just before my career absolutely took off, and theirs sadly stalled’.

If Will needs a drink to help him unwind post-show then he’s got himself covered as he co-owns a Bloody Mary drinks business called Bloody Drinks, where they sell a canned version of the cocktail.

What has Will Best presented aside from Big Brother?

Will’s first known presenting gig came in 2010 when he fronted a comedy-pop show called Suck my Pop on Viva with Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh. The pair would conduct interviews and fun challenges with singing stars, but the series only lasted three months.

The following year he became a presenter on T4 and remained there until its demise in 2012.

He then turned his hand to the E4 dating show Love Shaft, in which singletons attempted to forge connections while traveling in a lift. We usually just spend elevator journeys trying to avoid eye contact.

He may be able to get some Big Brother hosting tips from Davina McCall as he worked on Got to Dance, which she fronted around this time too. He presented a spin-off called Got to Dance: Auditions Uncut for Sky.

In 2015, he led an important documentary on BBC – Is This Rape? Sex on Trial where a group of teenagers had to watch a sexual encounter and decide if it was consensual.

While he is clearly capable of covering serious issues, he also likes to have fun at work. When we think of fun, we think of AJ and the friends teamed up for The Great Christmas rant, where they did just that.

He also had some laughs on Celebrity Coach Trip in 2021, where his travel buddy was comedian Matt Richardson.

His first prime-time show was Dance, Dance, Dance with Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon sharing hosting duties with him.

The ITV Sunday evening show saw celebrities including Fiona Wade, Jess Wright and JB Gill tried to recreate iconic routines.

It didn’t make it to a second series.

Basically, Will has plenty of presenting practice which will stand him in good stead for his biggest gig yet.

After a decade of dating, last year Will proposed to his partner during a holiday in Tuscany in Italy.

Speaking about Tobi in 2023, Will posted a sweet tribute for their 12th anniversary.

‘12 years ago today I met this truly one in a 7.88 billion human being… as well as being the love of my life, she’s also frighteningly true to her word,’ he shared on Instagram.

Celebrity Big Brother starts tonight at 9pm on ITV1.
