Katie Price, 46, ‘devastated’ after suffering miscarriage but vows to keep trying for sixth child
She's devastated.

Katie Price has heartbreakingly suffered a miscarriage after falling pregnant over Christmas.
The 46-year-old model is mum to five children, including Harvey, 22, Junior and Princess, who she shares with Peter Andre, and her youngest two, Jett and Bunny, from her marriage to Kieran Hayler.
I’m A Celebrity star Katie has been vocal in recent years about wanting to try for another baby, and previously enlisted a surrogate to carry her next child.
She’s now revealed she and Married At First Sight star JJ Slater, who she began dating in January 2024, fell pregnant unexpectedly over Christmas, but scans from earlier this month showed she’d lost the baby.
Katie is now teaming up with baby loss charity Tommy’s to raise awareness for grieving mums.
‘It’s been hard. Did I cry or not? I don’t really know, but I was just really sad because we went from joy and relief that I could get pregnant naturally, to confusion, heartbreak and sadness,’ she said.
Katie explained that she’d been told last year she was perimenopausal and only had a 1% chance of falling pregnant naturally, so didn’t think it would happen.

But then on Boxing Day I missed a period, and I’m usually so regular every 28 days, and the symptoms started: my boobs were sore, I felt bloated, a little bit moody and started feeling nauseous,’ she continued to The Sun.
‘I did loads of pregnancy tests because I wanted to be sure, and JJ kept asking me if it was real. He was so, so excited.’
Katie feared something was wrong after the line on her pregnancy test didn’t get any darker, so she went for blood tests and a scan that tragically revealed her baby wasn’t alive anymore.
‘It’s been devastating,’ she said.

I trained as a nurse before I got into all of this career.
‘I adore every stage of childhood, and with my two eldest now, I love the stage they’re at. I love being their friend.
‘But I do have to remember my body is getting older and it’s not a young body any more.’
Ahead of turning 47, Katie has vowed that she’s not giving up and she and JJ are still planning for a child in the future, while she wants to offer ‘hope to people out there struggling to conceive’.

‘At the end of the day, I haven’t got a baby, and these give me comfort,’ she explained.
Katie has suffered from three prior miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy.
In a recent Channel 4 documentary, Katie Price: Making Babies, the star revealed her vulnerable side as it explored her struggles to conceive with then-boyfriend Carl Woods.

In the two-part programme, which was filmed in 2023, Katie says she is ‘really deflated’ after two of her eggs are successfully harvested and one is fertilised, but she finds out it is unsuccessful and that she isn’t pregnant.
She later says ‘it’s not the end of the world’ and considers a donor egg with Carl, but the couple split before the egg implantation.
‘I’m exhausted with relationships, when I look back at how the IVF journey was, a lot of times I wasn’t happy,’ she adds.
