Katie Price shares delight as she reveals £760,000 bankruptcy been discharged
'I’m so happy. I can finally move on.'

Katie Price has confirmed the end of her bankruptcies as she reveals she is ‘so happy’.
It was revealed that the former model, 46, owed £761,994 to HMRC in February 2024, which marked the star’s second bankruptcy following unpaid debts in 2019.
She then declared bankruptcy for a second time in March over an unpaid tax bill and raised eyebrows when she skipped a bankruptcy hearing and was snapped with her boyfriend at £760-a-night hotel.
An arrest warrant was put out for her arrest and she was remanded in custody after arriving at Heathrow Airport after a Turkish getaway.
After a hearing at the Insolvency and Companies Court, Katie’s bankruptcy from 2019 was discharged earlier this year- and now she has announced her second bankruptcy has been discharged.
She told The Sun: ‘I’m so happy. I can finally move on and put these bankruptcies behind me and now only focus on the positive.
‘Thank you to everyone that has supported me through this process.’

He added that she didn’t ‘understand’ the consequences of not attending her court dates, but since working with a legal team has been ‘fully compliant with her Trustee in Bankruptcy and has been discharged from both bankruptcies in short order.’
When the star was first declared bankrupt in November 2019, she was supposed to pay £12,000 in debt every month for four years to her creditors after taking out an individual voluntary arrangement (IVA).
In February last year she was ordered to pay 40% of her monthly income from OnlyFans until February 2027 to assist her debt payments.

The star defended herself at the time in a statement that read: ‘I have to continue in my work in order to satisfy these bankruptcy orders which is all I am trying to do right now.
‘I am however not running from matters and will continue to take matters with great seriousness. I am doing the best I can to rectify things during extremely challenging times.’
At the end of 2024, Katie revealed that she had found a buyer for her former Sussex home, Mucky Mansion-which she renovated in a Channel 4 series.
Katie moved out of the dilapidated house in May after reports of an eviction notice due to her financial issues (which she has denied).
The estate – which includes nine bedrooms, four bathrooms, 12 acres, and a disused swimming pool – was bought by the reality star in 2014 for an estimated £1.35million.
It is thought that the star may have made a loss as reports suggest the property sold for £1.15million.
‘I’ve been wanting to get out of my old house for absolute years. It’s been nothing but hell in there. I’ve not had any luck in that house, ever,’ she told the Daily Mail.
‘I hate that house. Whoever buys it, I warn them, they will get bad luck there. It is absolutely cursed. My anxiety got worse with that house. There was a point when I couldn’t even walk up the driveway without having a panic attack.
‘I had therapy about the house. I should never have gone back there. Now I’m out of it it’s the best thing I’ve ever done.’
It is reported that she a now lives in a four-bed Sussex home for a reported £5,000 a month.
The news comes after Katie and JJ Slater suffered from a miscarriage (Photo by Alan Chapman/Dave Benett/Getty Images)The dissolution of her bankruptcies comes as it’s announced that Katie has opened up about suffering a devastating miscarriage.
The reality TV star has been vocal about wanting to try for another baby and previously enlisted a surrogate to carry her next child.
She revealed that she and her Married At First Sight star JJ Slater had fallen pregnant at the end of 2024, but lost the baby.
