Love Island star Chris Hughes has been forced to address claims it was him kissing Maura Higgins at the Brit Awards after-party.
McFly star Danny Jones, 38, and Love Island star Maura, 34, were seen sharing a kiss over the weekend at the star-studded Universal Music party.
However, rumours quickly surfaced that the man in question in the cosy video could be Love Island’s Chris and not Danny.
Chris, who appeared on the ITV series back in 2017, took to his Instagram Stories to hit back after the claims from social media users.
One TikTok user wrote: ‘This looks like Chris Hughes, not Danny Jones??’, while another added: ‘Isn’t this Chris Hughes she’s kissing?’

Sharing a photo of his TV screen, Chris wrote: ‘I wasn’t at the Brits.. and I wasn’t kissing anyone x.’

Sources told the publication that Maura, who is newly single following her split from Pete Wicks, ‘seemed to be having a great time’ with married Danny, before the pair shared a ‘brief drunken kiss’.
‘Danny and Maura seem to have a close friendship after meeting in the jungle.’
‘They were talking and laughing for ages,’ a source told The Sun, who also published videos of the apparent kiss.
The publication reported Danny had been with his McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher before Maura walked over, with the pair spending about 90 minutes together.

One said Danny, who has been married to wife Georgia Horsley since 2014, ‘appeared to be giving her advice and at one point put his arm around her shoulder’.
Maura was also reported to have ‘laid her head on Danny’s shoulder as they talked with friends’.
After sitting down at a table together and chatting with their campmate Oti Mabuse, they walked into the foyer together around 3am – which is when they were filmed appearing to kiss.

‘Inside the party, it appeared to be just the two of them. The night was winding down as it was so early in the morning and a lot had gone home,’ the source also said.

Maura recently split from Pete Wicks after a brief on-off romance, with reports claiming the pair decided to ‘remain friends’.
‘There have been a few clashes, and it was eventually agreed they were better off as friends,’ a source told MailOnline.
‘Those closest to them know it’s been a very on and off relationship, which is why they were so resistant to go public in the first place. They remain close and share a deep connection.’
