Marlon Wayans tears ‘irrelevant’ Soulja Boy apart for disgusting transphobic slur against his son
This was not on our 2025 bingo card.

Move over Kendrick Lamar and Drake, there’s a new celebrity feud that has fans losing their minds: Marlon Wayans and Soulja Boy.
The Scary Movie icon, 52, has ripped into the 00s rapper over transphobic comments aimed at Wayans’ son, Kai, who is a trans man.
The Crank That rapper, real name DeAndre Cortez Way, originally lashed out at Wayans after he slammed his performance celebrating Trump’s inauguration.
While on The Wiz radio, he reportedly said Way, 34, needed to ‘get that cheque’ but ‘nobody cares’ about the rapper.
Hitting back, Way called the White Chicks actor a ‘b***h’ and declared he was ‘not funny’ before taking a turn into a more targeted attack on Kai.
‘I can’t believe I’m arguing with a n***a that dressed up like a white b***h wtf is wrong with me,’ he wrote on X.
The argument devolved into Way hurling transphobic comments at Wayans’ son (Picture: X) Ways was upset over comments the actor made on radio (Picture: Prince Williams/WireImage)Way continued: ‘Marlon Wayans you a b***h and u not funny shut up n***a keep selling ur soul and sucking the higher-up d**ks.’

He followed up with multiple digs at Kai, including using disgusting slurs, writing: ‘Ain’t yo son a tr***y that suck d**k’.’
‘That f****t s**t run in the family huh?’ he continued. ‘@MarlonWayans. No wonder u like dressing up as a b***h it’s in ur blood.
The rapper used it as a publicity stunt, arguing directly with Wayans, as well as promoting his cryptocurrency and apparent new music.
Wayans fired off a series of cutting responses, insulting Way’s career, personality, and looks as well as defending his son.
‘I’m sorry, @souljaboy said what now?’ the actor wrote. ‘Lookin’ like you give up anything for some meth.’
Wayans fired back some heavy blows (Picture: X) The barrage of posts kept coming from both sides (Picture: X)The barrage didn’t stop there as the actor added: ‘If @souljaboy had a career he could get cancelled for this type of slander. Luckily he ain’t been relevant since 2007.’
‘Hey @souljaboy, you a grown man and still use the word ‘boy’ in your name. That’s what they were calling you at that event huh? Hey there Boy, can you do that dance for me? I’ll throw u a meme coin.’
One post, which read ‘I respect how @souljaboy retired after them two songs. SMH so sad jojo’, racked up over 258,000 likes.
In another brutal message, he shared a picture of Way and captioned it: ‘Hey @souljaboy My child had top surgery and still has more chest than you.’
After this, Way didn’t have any comebacks to fire at Wayans, choosing instead to quote share other people laughing at his one slur-filled post about White Chicks.
Fans seemed to be liking Wayans’ cutting replies (Picture: X)While Wayans did assure TMZ the fallout wasn’t that deep, saying the pair were ‘cool’, he added in an extra dig for good measure.
‘If you’re gonna beef, you have to have a chest, that’s first and foremost. You gotta have more than two songs to beef.’
He also teased that Way had inspired a new character for his next spoof film, offering for the rapper to be the star of Scary Movie 13 – when the franchise is totally dead.
Wayans has repeatedly shared how proud he is of Kai, who is the eldest of his two children, posting rainbow flags and messages of support during pride month.
He has said he is very proud of his son Kai (Picture: Chris Haston/WBTV via Getty Images)On his son’s birthday in 2023, he wrote on Instagram: ‘I’ve always asked people to love me unconditionally, thank you for teaching me what that really means. Be you! Your best you!
‘Excuse my ignorance, chalk it up to growth. Love you so much, thank you for making me a man. So proud.’
Soulja Boy appears to have been repeatedly attempting to troll other stars, apologising to Metro Boomin last year over comments about the producer’s late mother.
He tweeted insults aimed at Drake – who he also tagged – after the Super Bowl halftime show in a long-running trolling attempt.
He’s also attempted to start beef with Tyga, Kanye West, Meek Mills, Bow Wow, Bhad Bhabie, and more.
