Amazon Prime viewers can’t stop watching ‘the absolute best’ drama series

Amazon Prime Video viewers have rediscovered a ‘gripping’ drama with one of the most impressive casts of all time.
Anthology series Accused originally aired on the BBC in 2010 but has been recently added to the streaming platform.
Created by Jimmy McGovern, the crime drama stars the best British acting talent including Olivia Colman, Sean Bean and Stephen Graham.
Doctor Who stars Christopher Eccleston and Peter Capaldi also feature in Accused, along with Naomie Harris, Andy Serkis and Anna Maxwell Martin.
And it doesn’t stop there as Sheridan Smith, Mackenzie Crook and Juliet Stevenson are among the cast too.

Accused ran for two seasons from 2010 until 2012 during which time it won the International Emmy for best drama.
In 2023, it was adapted by US network Fox, starring the likes of Abigail Breslin, Felicity Huffman, Cobie Smulders and Rachel Bilson.
Accused is not the only show gripping Amazon Prime Video viewers.

Animal Kingdom even stars one of the BBC’s show’s actors, Finn Cole, who played Michael Gray.
First aired in 2016, the thriller follows Finn’s character Joshua ‘J’ Cody who moves in with his estranged relatives, the Codys, who run a criminal family enterprise in California, after the death of his mother.
On Reddit, Turbulent-Truth-4059 urged: ‘How is no one talking about how good ANIMAL KINGDOM IS???????????? watch it.’
