Inside star-studded pre-Met Gala party with daring outfits and questionable dance moves
Fans predict the most 'memorable' Met ever.

Preparations for the 2025 Met Gala are in full swing, which has, of course, included a raucous pre-Met party.
The annual glitzy fundraising tradition will return to the Metropolitan Museum of Art tomorrow night as some of showbusiness’s biggest stars grace the carpet.
This year, the theme is Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, honouring the artistry and cultural influence of Black fashion.
Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour will be on hand, as ever, to oversee every minor detail, while Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams will co-chair the event.
But before the inevitable flapping and stressing of Monday night as stylists pray to God that their creations still fit and MUAs work their magic, there was a chance for the A-listers to let their hair down.
Offering an insight into the wild pre-Met Gala party for us peasants not in attendance, Vogue Magazine took to TikTok—and it’s safe to say things got pretty spicy.
@voguemagazineWhat the helly…. Last night’s First Friday in May pre-#MetGala party was a fever dream. #AsapRocky surprise appearance, #AyoEdebiri finding elevated surfaces, #Doechii handing out sunflowers? Sure, why not.

Rapper A$AP Rocky, real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers, hosted the do, along with fellow musician Doechii, photographer Tyler Mitchell, and fashion stylist Law Roach.
Keen to be the hostess with the mostess, Anxiety hitmaker Doechii, 26, was filmed shaking her booty as live music blared and cameras flashed.
Also on the dancefloor, The Bear actress Ayo Edebiri threw some super slick shapes before A$AP turned it up a notch and created a mosh pit.
Meanwhile, Grammy nominee Omar Apollo grooved away, looking suave in his suit, and pouty Dutch model Imaan Hammam worked the floor with a shimmy.
