The Traitors’ Charlotte Chilton still believes Conor Maynard may be the father of her baby
There has been months of speculation.
The Traitors star Charlotte Chilton ‘is still convinced’ Conor Maynard is the father of her baby.
After announcing her pregnancy, in June last year Charlotte, 33, said the singer and social media star was the father of her unborn child.
She then gave birth to daughter Penelope in October and has spoken publicly several times about how he ‘hadn’t contacted her’ and she was ‘prepared to do this alone’.
However last week he finally broke his silence, issuing a statement claiming a DNA test proved he was not the little girl’s father.
Despite this Charlotte is reported to be questioning the accuracy of the results.
‘Charlotte has always been adamant about who Penelope’s father is and her daughter is the spitting image of Conor,’ a source told The Sun.

‘It’s been an exhausting fight between them.’

They continued: ‘Conor has been desperate to distance himself since finding out Charlotte was pregnant. He refused to take her calls or answer messages and instead put everything into the hands of his lawyers. It’s all been on his terms.’
The source also laimed Charlotte was ‘blindsided’ after Conor, also 32, released the statement but was also ‘braced for a battle’.
She is now focused on making sure her daughter is ‘protected’ but her legal team is also now reportedly ‘looking into how they move forward to ensure Conor takes a second test’.
Earlier today Charlotte posted on social media for the first time since Conor revealed his paternity test results.

It is her first post since International Women’s Day on March 8, which was also a snap of her five-month old baby with the caption: ‘I made this little women – blows my mind continuously.’
After months of speculation over whether Conor was Penelope’s father, as Charlotte had continuously claimed, the singer put the rumours to rest in a post on March 14.
‘I took a paternity test regarding Charlotte Chilton’s baby girl, Penelope, in the presence of her legal representative,’ he began in a statement on Instagram.
‘Today I’ve received the test results which confirm I am not Penelope’s father.
‘I am glad that the speculation can finally be put to an end.

‘I wish Charlotte and her family all the best.’
Charlotte has not publicly responded to Conor’s statement.
The TV personality originally kept the baby’s father a secret but ultimately decided she didn’t want it to be a ‘dirty secret’ and pointed the finger at Conor.
After Penelope was born in October she told OK! Magazine that he knows but she ‘hadn’t heard anything’.
At the time she continued: ‘There’s been days where I’ve been in tears because I’m sitting here thinking, “I’ve got a daughter that looks f*****g identical to you.”
‘She’s got his eyes, his hair, his facial expressions.’
She had also said that Conor would not be raising the baby and she was prepared to ‘do this alone’.

She met Conor at a nightclub following the Traitors final in 2024 after being set up by co-star and mutual friend Harry who was dating Conor’s younger sister, Anna.
In her post announcing Penelope’s birth she wrote: ‘Princess Penelope has arrived and we have been enjoying our “Penelope bubble” so much, I am going to be off the radar for a little longer, whilst I enjoy these magical moments with my precious girl!!
‘Thank you to all that have checked in to make sure I am ok!! ???? my heart is full xx’
