US band confirm themselves for Glastonbury despite no official announcement from festival
It'll be there first time at Worthy Farm.

US group Infinity Song have confirmed they will be heading to Worthy Farm as part of their 2025 tour — despite no official word from Glastonbury.
The festival released its first phase lineup earlier this month, which included revealing headliners for the two biggest stages.
Previously self-confirmed Neil Young is on the Pyramid Stage as well as Olivia Rodrigo and the slightly controversial The 1975, fronted by Matty Healy.
Meanwhile, the Other Stage will be headlined by Loyle Carner, The Prodigy and Charli XCX — with fans already concerned about overcrowding.
Plenty of huge names such as Sir Rod Stewart, Raye, Biffy Clyro, Doechii, The Scissor Sisters, and Franz Ferdinand, complete this first announcement.
However, soft rockers Infinity Song are nowhere to be found on the poster — but that didn’t stop them announcing they will be at Glastonbury ‘for the first time’.

Their tour poster, which includes stops in Europe, the US, and Canada, included a clearly marked Glastonbury slot on June 28.
They added: ‘Most importantly, we’ll play our favourite songs, in some of our favourite places, for some of the best fans on earth.
‘We cannot wait to sing for you.’
Infinity Song were first spotted busking in 2016, quickly rising to fame as Jay-Z was sent a video and signed them to Roc Nation shortly afterwards.

Self-confirming slip-ups are not unusual but 2025’s lineup had a rare accidental headliner reveal from Neil Young.
He had caused confusion when he said he would be taking to the stage after Sir Rod’s Sunday legend slot before confirming himself as a headliner.
In January, the 79-year-old Canadian-American singer announced he would not be playing Worthy Farm after a disagreement with the BBC.
Neil took to his website to reveal that after being asked to go about his performance at the festival in a specific way, he and his band were no longer interested in performing at Worthy Farm.

Rising star Lola Young also had an accidental self-confirm at the Brit Awards, telling fans she was at Coachella and Glastonbury while on the red carpet.
Glastonbury is taking place from Wednesday, June 25 – 29, with most of the music on the last three days, but there’s plenty to see in the fields of Worthy Farm.
